The Bespoke Process

The Bespoke Process

Buying a pair of bespoke shoes is no ordinary affair. We invite you to select from our range of classic styles and craft a beautiful pair of shoes that are individual and truly fit you. We utilise our highly experienced and dedicated team to produce the finest bespoke footwear available.

Firstly, we start with getting detailed measurements and an impression of your feet. This enables us to produce a last and craft your bespoke pair of shoes to your exact measurements. Then we start the process of creating your footwear with your chosen style and colour. This includes cutting patterns for the leather upper of the boots or shoes, edging, stitching the upper and then adding the insole and Goodyear Welting the underside.

Your footwear is then presented to you for a first fitting where we make sure the fit and feel of the footwear is perfect for you. At this point it is essential to make small amendments and adaptions to the pair. Finally following the first fit amendments, your truly bespoke pair of footwear is delivered to you.

If you’re searching for a truly personalised shoe that is in no size but your own then look no further. Newman & Regent is dedicated to preserving the rich history of English shoemaking and we welcome you to join us at our Kettering factory for your personal bespoke service.
