Our Brand

Our brand is about creating timeless quality footwear for our customers. At Newman & Regent we do not believe in half standards or settling for less. We expect the best and produce the finest quality English footwear available.

Our shoe making journey began on Regent Street in Kettering, and now continues from a Victorian Grade 2 listed boot & shoe factory on Newman Street in Kettering, Northamptonshire. Our factory routes are in the heart of the English footwear industry and our name heralds from this.

While our brand is new, it is built on a legacy of English made boot and shoe making dating back to 1873. Every pair of our footwear is 100% Made in England by our highly experienced and dedicated team to produce the finest footwear available. We only produce footwear that we proudly wear ourselves and believe in quality through heritage and ensure every pair of Newman & Regent footwear that leaves our factory, meets our high standards.

Each pair of Newman & Regent footwear is designed to be timeless, created from high quality materials, and constructed to last. Our skilled cordwainers finish each boot and shoe by hand. Continuing the legacy of quality footwear making in Northamptonshire is incredibly important to us; it is part of our DNA.

OUR LOGO

Our logo incorporates design elements inspired by the architecture and and heritage of our historic factories. Designed by the talented Tobias Hall, whose lettering, illustration and design work has been commissioned by the likes of the Rolling Stones, Paroni, Zizzi, Wagamamas, and Comic Relief.

Our unique logo consists of a strong bespoke font type, inspired by the original 'N' keystone that still stands above the entrance to our Newman Street factory. This keystone is resembled in the logo and houses the 'N&R'.

The silver falcon that adorns our crest takes it inspiration from the Northamptonshire coat of arms and sits proudly on top of a Northamptonshire rose, which also features as a stone decoration in the Newman factory.
